GOING HOME!

Getting home was quite the task. We woke up and left florence at 6:00 am, between all our luggage, all the transportation, customs, and delays we finally made back to Salt Lake 27 hours later! What a trip though. I would be lying if I said I was glad to be back. I learned so much about culture, art, architecture, art, design, and history. I can't wait to go back! This trip helped me realize how important it is to travel and learn. Thanks Darrin!

ITALY

My blogs are getting shorter and shorter. Sorry. First day we walked the city of Venice. Second day we took a boat to Lido Beach! It was soooo much fun! Beautiful weather! Finally! The food was soooo good! Very charming place too.

On the boat, headed to Lido!

What productive students we are!

Last day in Paris

I’m so sad!! I absolutely fell in love with Paris. Today was a crazy day. We had a lot to do before we caught the train to Venice. Post office and last minute shopping! When we arrived to our train we were quite surprised! The cars were so small! Six of us plus all of our luggage had to fit into these tiny cars for the fourteen hour train ride….. It was an adventure. Way fun! We watched Pride and Prejudice. It was such a good movie!!! What was even cooler was the fact that we had been to all the places that are in the movie! It was great.

Day 21

Today we went to Versailles. What a massive place! The only bummer is that we were all so exhausted and we had the most up-tight, mean, old, and not to mention, boring, tour guide! It was great though to finally see some fabulous interiors! I’m sure the gardens would have been my favorite ones if it wasn’t freezing cold and raining the whole time. Afterwards we went to the Eiffel Tower and went all the way to the top! It was fabulous. It felt totally surreal to be there. Amazing! Then we went to the most fantastic French restaurant next to our hotel. It was the best meal!

The Chapel

The Hall of Mirrors.
It was just re-opened yesterday! We were so lucky!

There was so many people there. It was like a zoo!

We have now arrived to the King and Queens getaway house! About a 20 minute walk from the main palace.

If you can't tell.... I loved the chairs and the sweet fabrics!
This is the Queens bedroom. I loved it!

This would be the Temple of Love. That's Cupid inside.
This right here is the Queens private house for her and her girlfriends. Well, you can't see the house but this is the view she had! Amazing!

This is a bust of Marie Anntoinette in her private hangout.

We made it to the top! It was sooo cold!
