Day 5

Back for more! First Church, then return to the V&A and The National Portrait Gallery!!This Church was refreshing- definitely different style than what I'm used to seeing! The interiors were just as cool! So, interesting fact I found out about the V&A today- the outside is all black and charred looking. It was bomb in WWII. And I could be wrong, but I think that at one time it used to be one of Queen Victoria's Palaces. Hence, Victoria and Albert...Hepplewhite Chairs anyone?

Constitutional MirrorCabinet painted by William Morris.
Crystal Palace
A chair by Eileen Gray found at the Portrait Gallery!

You can't read it, but all the old palace doors have neat quotes written above them. This one says.....

"Better it is to get wisdom than it is gold."
