Day 8

Well this started out as the coolest day. It ended up as a very sad one…
We took the train to Derbyshire to see Hardwick Hall and Haddon Hall. They both were beautiful- the town of Derbyshire was amazing.

I finally felt I was in England. It’s exactly what I’ve been expecting England it to be like; rolling green hills, sheep, rivers, and castles. The history of both halls is extremely interesting. Well after a beautiful, historical day we started to head back to London. We were supposed to arrive in London at 7:00- a few of us were going to try and catch The Sounds play in downtown London. Well it turns out we took the wrong train and didn’t figure it out until we were two hours in the wrong direction. We missed the concert and dinner. We didn’t get home until 11:00 and we were all tired and cranky.
